Rescue Story: Peppermint and Diamond
At Small Paws Big Hearts Rescue, we believe in giving every dog a second chance at life, no matter their past. Recently, we received an urgent call about two Yorkshire Terriers, Peppermint and Diamond, who were found in a heartbreaking condition. Their coats were severely matted, tangled to the point of discomfort, and they were suffering from parasite infestations that left them in dire need of medical attention.
When Jeff and Di arrived to rescue them, it was clear that these sweet girls had been through a lot. Their once-beautiful fur was neglected, and they needed immediate veterinary care, including vaccinations and treatments to rid them of the parasites that plagued them.
But despite everything they’ve been through, Peppermint and Diamond are gentle souls with so much love to give. Now safe in our care, they are on the path to recovery, receiving the grooming, medical attention, and love they desperately need.
